Just as I was feeling confident about navigating around Paris I was in circles again. I thought I would be smart and write out the way to get back to Le Royal Opera (the place I happened upon yesterday for breakfast and free internet), well as I started on my path, feeling great about my navigating ,I ended up at Le Royal Opera all right, Le Royal Opera Hotel. So now I was lost all over again. So I ended up at Starbucks and didn't have an internet connection. So much for that idea. So I walked again many many miles. The great thing about walking is you just see so many things you would miss if you were on a straight path somewhere. :) Always looking for the positive.
I keep coming up with the word knowledge in my mind, doesn't having knowledge make life easier? But then again the aquiring of knowledge is the adventure. I love both!
Le Cordon Bleu was a lot smaller than I had imagined and not nearly as intimidating as I thought it would be. I got there only to find out my class tomorrow got cancelled. (I guess the cold weather isn't condusive to The Paris Market Tour). So I am now going to be taking Quiches and Vegetable Tarts. So get ready when I get back home:) They gave me a tour and it was amazing. I have 4 classes at Le Cordon Bleu.
A closing thought....
When you walk in circles in Paris you have many opportunities to get that photograph you may have missed:)
